In R&D or technical project organisations the attention for technology is obvious. The attention for behavioural patterns is less obvious. Recognising, interpreting, and solving problems resulting from these behavioural patterns, like employees and managers who don\u2019t understand each other, lack of cooperation, and cumbersome projects, requires a multifaceted approach.<\/p>\n

You must be a true all-rounder. You must be at home in technology to connect to technical professionals and to understand their struggles. You must be at home in methodologies, such as project management, programme management, Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma. You must be at home in business environments and management methodologies to connect to managers and to understand their dilemmas. You must be at home in behavioural psychology to recognise behavioural patterns and to apply methods to change them for the better.<\/p>\n

After all, you must be able to combine the theoretical knowledge in all these areas with practical experience. Basically, you are looking for the jack of all trades. Now the good news is that you are reading the website of a person who meets all these requirements. Exceptional, sure.
